Carpentaria Seafaris an expanding dynamic company with employment opportunities for motivated energetic persons with skills and abilities suited to a remote area, wilderness, boating and fishing lifestyle.

Master Class 5 / MED 3. Successful candidate must have personnel management ability a sport fishing background and experience and be a passionate angler.

Chef. Suitably qualified and experienced person to control of all aspects of the delivery of meals to a high standard for up to 12 clients and nine crew (including self) aboard our live aboard vessel. An eye for detail is essential.

Hostess / house keeper running the domestic side of the vessel on the trips as per this site and assisting the chef in preparation and delivery of meals as required. An eye for detail is essential.

Fishing guides need communication skills as well as a sound knowledge of sport fishing practices and techniques and be a passionate angler. A willingness to learn, neat tidy appearance, team spirit and sober habits required. Specific practice and location training provided.

Good working conditions in a fun and exciting environment. An attractive package including accommodation, electricity, meals, internet etc is provided at our shore facility on the days between trips as is subsidized travel to/from Cairns after probation period.
